Evi L. Psarrou is a graduate of the Department of History and Archeology at the University of Ioannina. She holds a Master’s degree from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne, UK and completed her doctoral thesis at the Center for Byzantine, Ottoman and Modern Greek Studies at the University of Birmingham, UK. She has been a research associate of the National Research Foundation and the Central Public Library of Chios «Koraes». She has lectured on history at the School of Hellenic Police Officers- Police Academy, the History and Archeology Department – University of Ioannina, the Department of Cultural Heritage Management and New Technologies and the Department of Philosophy – University of Patras, as well as the Hellenic Open University. She has participated in numerous conferences in Greece and abroad, where she has presented the results of her research, while her articles have been published in peer-reviewed journals and collective volumes of historical studies.
